Reading Helpers was founded by Pat Fischer
who developed the Laptop Reader for the blind in 1993 while
working for CompuAdd Computer Corporation. Pictures to
the right reflect this time period with a state of the art
computer using DOS and Windows 3.11. .
Reading Helpers is a company that promotes simple tools
for persons to use that help them read.
In the United States of America there are a group of
companies that have been providing persons who are blind and
visually impaired solutions for 20+ years. These
companies all share the same belief which is that we love to
help others, to serve people by selling, and supporting
technology products.
Reading is the best way to keep informed and keep your mind
active and alert.
